ACE Instructors – LSAT

Brent Dunn

Brent Dunn is a native of Utah and graduate of Brigham Young University, where he majored in Philosophy. Brent began teaching LSAT preparation for BYU before he even took the LSAT. His systematic approach helped scores of students score high beyond their expectations. Since creating Ace LSAT Preparation Brent has helped thousands of prospective law students achieve their dreams of getting accepted to prestigious schools around the world.

ACE Instructors – GMAT

Phil Hatch

Phil scored a perfect score of 180 on the June 2000 LSAT and has been teaching the LSAT since that time. Phil also scored 780 on the GMAT. Phil is from Elk Ridge, Utah and comes from a family of twelve children. He also has one son, Tristin, who thinks that the LSAT and GMAT are really boring. Phil disagrees; he loves teaching these tests and helping students reach their potential.

ACE Instructors – MCAT

Rubin

Rubin graduated from BYU in chemical engineering and is a native of Michigan. He is well qualified to teach the Ace methods after scoring a 41 on the test. His background in the sciences and ability to teach the MCAT essentials in these subjects allows students to approach these sections with confidence. Rubin routinely scores a perfect 15 on verbal reasoning and his methodology helps students turn this traditionally weak section into a strength.

Taylor

Cameron

Cameron is a Physiology and Developmental Biology graduate student and will be starting medical school at the University of Utah in the fall. He scored a 37 on the MCAT. For the past three years Cameron has been teaching physiology classes at BYU . His MCAT focus is in Biology and General Chemistry.

ACE Instructors – DAT

Justine

Justin is from Highlands Ranch, Colorado. He is currently at BYU in his last year as an Exercise Science major. He has an overall 3.91 GPA and scored a 24 on the DAT (including 29’s on both general and organic chemistry he didn’t miss one question!) which was good enough to be in the 99.4%. He is already accepted to dental schools including the University of North Carolina and Baylor College of Dentistry. He is currently working in his sixth semester as a TA for the BYU Chemistry Department and absolutely loves to teach.

David

David grew up in Norcross, GA and is currently finishing his senior year at BYU as a Biochemistry major. Both his science and cumulative GPAs are 3.97. He scored a 24 total science on the DAT, and got a perfect score on the General Chemistry section. He has been accepted to five schools, including UPenn, Columbia, USC, UCLA and UCSF, but is planning on attending UCLA.

ACE Instructors – Law School Preview

Catherine Bramble

Catherine Bramble graduated from BYU Law School in 2005. She graduated in the top 2% of her class of 156 and received the Order of the Coif and the Order of the Barrister, a rare combination. She was a member of BYU’s Law Review, was a member of the Trial Advocacy Competition team that won the Western Regional NTC tournament in 2004, and received the J. Reuben Clark Award her third year of law school. During both of her law school summers, she clerked for the prestigious law firm of Snow, Christensen, and Martineau in Salt Lake City, Utah doing defense litigation. She studied for and passed the Utah State Bar without a commercial bar prep course and became one of the youngest members ever admitted to the Utah Bar. After law school, she worked for four years at BYU directing the Prelaw Advisement Center, one of the largest prelaw programs in the country. In September of 2008, she retired from her position as Prelaw Advisor and Director of Preprofessional Advisement at BYU. She now works from home for a small law firm 5-10 hours a week practicing business, adoption, and estate planning law.
